CCWX EVENT
Interested in hosting an event during CCWX?
Review the eligibility criteria and complete the following form.
Event organizers must first agree to the Canada Climate Week Xchange (CCWX) Terms and Conditions, and agree to the event obligations prior to event submission.
Each event submission is evaluated by CCWX prior to receiving official approval.
Events must occur during Canada Climate Week Xchange. The 2025 designated week is:
Monday, November 24, 2025 through to Sunday, November 30, 2025
Event submissions must demonstrate the following*:
Alignment with the CCWX mission and goal
A climate-related purpose with specific action-oriented outcome(s)
*Events proposed to showcase products/services through a presentation/investment pitch or product demonstration can be eligible, but must:
have a main event that aligns with CCWX's mission and goal, and <10% of the time focused on the product/service, and
preferably be part of a product/service showcase with other vendors/consultants
Evaluation will consider the event’s ability to demonstrate one or more of:
Cross-collaboration that drives solutions or action
Inclusion and accessibility allowing underrepresented communities (people and places) to participate
Youth participation
Diversity among speakers and/or diversity of language
The structure of the event is determined by the event organizer. For example, events can be:
In-person, hybrid, virtual, by invitation, and should foster collaboration among participants
Free for participants or have an associated fee
A wide-variety of events is encouraged given the unique Canadian climate issues. Topic examples include:
Renewable energy/clean energy | Forest fire management |
Critical minerals | Atmospheric rivers and flooding |
Sustainable finance | Loss of ice and permafrost |
Just energy transition | Indigenous stewardship |
Carbon tax | Nature-based solutions |
Carbon pricing | Carbon sinks |
Carbon sequestration (CCS or CCUS) | Cut off of remote communities due to fire, floods, thawing permafrost |

Obligations Regarding Approved Events
Once approved, CCWX will:
List the event on the CCWX website
Send the event organizer the official CCWX event logo and usage guidelines
Send reminders regarding CCWX event organizer’s obligations (below)
Approved event organizers must:
Promote the "Climate Champions to Support" through URL links, QR codes, or by name
Promote CCWX and its website as described in the Terms and Conditions
Provision CCWX with post-event statistics
Provision CCWX with an event statement of outcome(s)
Provision CCWX with images/photos from the event (where consent available and appropriate)

Submissions are welcomed from:
November 25, 2024 to October 31, 2025
